Keith Jackson unleashes on James Bisgrove after Rangers trip to Australia announced

Keith Jackson has unleashed on Rangers official James Bisgrove over the Australian tour that has been announced for later this year.

The Daily Record journalist insisted that Bisgrove has cemented his status as a man who would happily sell anything.

Bisgrove is said to have been caught in the headlights, and that those inside Rangers now have to start asking questions of him.

Writing in his latest Daily Record column, Jackson flew off the hinges at Bisgrove and his work in the past week.

“By secretly signing off on a controversial plan to take the Old Firm derby Down Under, Bisgrove has cemented his status as a man who would happily sell anything that’s not nailed down without stopping to consider the cost of any reputational damage which might be incurred along the way,” he said.

“He smells a rat because word began to trickle out of Australia overnight before Celtic confirmed their intention to participate the following day, while Bisgrove and his buddies were caught in the headlights.

“But rather than playing the old paranoia card, Rangers should be looking inhouse and asking exactly why it is that this whole fiasco was mishandled so spectacularly. And by whom.”

Embarrassing.

The opening stages of the Sydney Cup being flogged have already highlighted just how wrong Bisgrove has got this.

Regardless of how much money will come in, it is said to be around £3million, this has been a huge mistake.

All adverts have been giving everything to Celtic and Ange Postecoglou, and it is clear the Australians are only interested in that.

At this moment, it feels like we are entering a party that is all about our fierce rivals and we are just there to make the numbers.

Bisgrove has got this all wrong, and the reaction from fans and those alike should leave him knowing that each time it hits matchday.

It looks as though this won’t be cancelled, though, so we may as well make this worth it by turning up, storming past them and embarrassing those involved.
