Rangers official partner Heart and Hand slams reports over recent controversy
Heart and Hand have slammed reports that Rangers have been lying about their permissions to wear a special jersey.
The official media partner of the Gers has hit out at reports but no such reports can be found.
Initially, it seemed that permission was not taken, but it has now been revealed that it was, which means the club did not do anything wrong.
Via their official Twitter account, Heart and Hand wrote, “Both Rangers and SPFL have confirmed kit WAS registered at start of season and as stated yesterday Rangers chose to wear home one. Reports club is ‘lying’ are pure fabrication, ironically.”
Weird one
This entire jersey controversy has been one big misunderstanding that should never have occurred in the first place.
To their credit, Rangers took permission that they needed to which means that they’re eligible to wear the kit when at some stage in the current season.
However, it should have never become such big news and there being two sides to it.

Obviously, the club knows that they need to seek permission before a jersey can be approved and worn for matches.
Hopefully, these statements are now the end of it and they can pay attention to matters on the field of play.
That’s what most fans care about and not this malarkey that goes on behind the scenes.
In other Rangers news, the club may sign a Dutch international to replace Allan McGregor and the keeper’s contract also expires in the summer.
