Chris Sutton: Tension getting to Rangers and Celtic with something ‘special’ now needed
Chris Sutton has insisted that Rangers and Celtic are now facing major pressure at the top of the Scottish Premiership.
The Glasgow duo have seen their results get much tighter in recent weeks, with no one running away with the league this season.
Sutton predicted that moments like these now come down to someone doing something “special” when things are getting hard.

Writing in his column for the Daily Record on Saturday (05 March), Sutton shared his view as things get tight at the top of the Scottish Premiership.
“When it gets to this stage when Celtic and Rangers are feeling the tension, then it might come down to someone doing something special,” he said.
“The St Mirren game in midweek was following a familiar pattern to the matches against Hibs, Dundee United and a few others until they found a breakthrough.”

Rotation.
Ange Postecoglou has used all of his weapons now, something that Giovanni van Bronckhorst has yet to do.
Recent weeks have seen Celtic rotating their squad looking for answers, whereas the Bears are yet to tap into their depth at Ibrox.
That could start with the Europa League returning this week, and the added determination of players looking for more minutes could see this squad explode.
With Aberdeen coming up this afternoon, the likes of Ryan Jack, Aaron Ramsey and Filip Helander are ready to return and give better options.
Celtic don’t have that luxury at this moment in time, and this is when the Bears have to strike, it is time to take back what is ours, and that is top spot.
