Rangers to wear 150th-anniversary kit for first-time v Aberdeen
Rangers welcome Aberdeen to Ibrox on Saturday with all eyes on securing three points to close in on Celtic in the Scottish Premiership title race.
The Light Blues remain three points behind their Glasgow rivals after both sides picked up wins in midweek but The Hoops don’t play until Sunday.
Aberdeen have really struggled this season as they lie down in 10th and they will have the extra challenge of facing Rangers at a poignant time.

March celebrates the 150th-anniversary of the football club and Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s side will wear a commemorative all-white kit throughout the month where possible [The Herald].
Tomorrow’s clash will be the first time the new threads are worn in a game and it is sure to be a memorable day at Ibrox.
Focus on the job
Anniversary games are often more tricky for the side honouring it than the team against them.
There is a danger that van Bronckhorst and his players could get swept up in the nostalgia of it all and lose focus on what they are being paid to do.

If they are caught starry-eyed staring at what is sure to be a phenomenal atmosphere at Ibrox, they will leave themselves extremely vulnerable to the Dons and they could throw away their title hopes in the process.
It isn’t just something that might affect this weekend either as this will go on all month and if they can’t get over the palaver of it all, they might as well hand the trophy over to Celtic now.
Having said that, if they do get beyond all of the festivities, they could be set for a dominant afternoon and they can send a real message to the other side of the Old Firm as they watch on.
In other Rangers news, Aaron Ramsey could be back soon than expected as he spends thousands of his own money to get fit quickly.
