Rangers ace Alfredo Morelos admits love for Premier League
Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos has admitted he would like to play in the Premier League with it being one of his “favourite” leagues.
The Columbian stated he is very happy in Glasgow as the Bears push for back-to-back league titles.
Morelos was adamant his conversation was nothing but pleasantries as he spoke to former Gers boss Steven Gerrard following his move to England.

“I am very content at Rangers and we are doing well,” Morelos said in an interview with Colombian radio station Caracol (via the Daily Record).
“I am scoring goals and feel I am contributing to the team. It would be nice to win another title with Rangers and I think we are close to doing that, but we need to keep going until the end of the season. We will see what happens and what God decides.
“Scottish football is very similar to the English Premier League. I would imagine we get watched by clubs there and of course, we are doing well in the Europa League so we get a lot of exposure.
“It would be nice to play there because it is one of my favourite leagues.
“Our ex-manager Steven Gerrard went to the Premier League. I have spoken to him since, just the usual greetings and things. We’ve not had any further conversations.”

Legend in the making
It is no surprise whatsoever that Morelos has one eye on the Premier League as many players do when they come to Scotland.
He was quick to dismiss any hint of him and Gerrard flirting with a move to Aston Villa where the former Bears boss is doing really well but who knows how that conversation really went.
The most important thing for Rangers right now is that the striker remains fit and continues the excellent form he has in recent weeks.
He is certainly one of the best players in the league and if he hits his stride from now until the end of the season there is no doubt he can carry Gers to the title.
It was very nice to see him talk about how happy he is at Ibrox and the importance of the remainder of the season whilst being questioned on a move away from the club.
Hopefully he stays at the club for the foreseeable future where he might just become a Bears legend.
In other Rangers news, Brian Laudrup has destroyed the Gers’ January transfer business.
