Barry Ferguson expects Aaron Ramsey to deliver for Rangers
Barry Ferguson has suggested that it will be foolish to write off Rangers midfielder Aaron Ramsey who is currently out injured.
Ramsey joined in the January transfer window from Juventus on loan but he has struggled with his fitness once again.
Ferguson feels that Ramsey picked up an injury while trying to push himself to the limit. He thinks the former Arsenal man can still play a big role for the Gers.

Ferguson wrote in his column for The Daily Record: “Don’t rule out Aaron Ramsey from making an impact over the final weeks of the campaign.
“Yes, time is running out for a new signing who arrived a month ago and has hardly kicked a ball since. And I know the patience of the fans is wearing thin with him too.
“But don’t be fooled into writing him off just yet either and spare me this theory that his heart is not in it.
“On the contrary, I suspect the guy has pushed his body to the limits in trying to get ultra-fit and has picked up niggles because of it. I’ve been in that boat myself over the years.”
Hope
Rangers fans, like Ferguson, will hope that Ramsey will come good.
So far they have seen very little of Ramsey. He is a world-class player, and there’s no doubt that he has got plenty of football left in him.
The main question remains with his fitness. If he stays fit till the end of the season, he can make a significant contribution and can help Rangers win the league once again.

However, if he continues to remain absent with minor injuries, it will be seen as an expensive mistake from the club. The time is running out for him to make an impact.
The way things have turned out after the winter break, Rangers appeared to have lost their momentum a bit in the league, while they have been exceptionally good occasionally.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst will need his top players in the best shape for the rest of the season as it promises to go down to the wire.
