Liam Kelly may replace Allan McGregor at Rangers
Motherwell goalkeeper Liam Kelly could be a possible replacement for Allan McGregor at Rangers.
According to The Daily Record, the 26-year-old is enjoying an ‘Excellent’ SPFL season and would be a good fit for Rangers.
He is far from just being a shot stopper as he would give Giovanni van Bronckhorst a keeper confident in playing out from the back.

Should go for him
Kelly has been making Steve Clarke’s Scotland squads in the past and at 26, he’s far from his best,
He will only get better as time passes and there’s no denying that the exposure he gets at the Ibrox will be second to none in Scotland.
Whether or not the club actually pursue his signature remains to be seen, but if they want someone young and proven in the league, then he is the ideal man for the job.
McGregor has shown of late that he could be done at the highest level and this summer would be ideal to rope in a replacement.

However, should they decide to go down the Kelly route then they’re likely to have to pay top dollar for it.
His contract at Motherwell expires in the summer of 2024 so they’re going to demand a big transfer fee in exchange of his services.
Given the fact that Gers are aspiring to be self sustainable they may think twice before pursuing the 26-year-old’s services.
