Steven Gerrard reacts as Rangers cruise past Borussia Dortmund in Europa League
Steven Gerrard has reacted to Rangers cruising past Borussia Dortmund in the Europa League on Thursday evening.
Going into the second leg at Ibrox with a 4-2 lead, the Bears held the German giants to a 2-2 draw to secure progress.
The former boss for the Bears took to social media to congratulate them, keeping a close eye on Glasgow from Aston Villa.

Writing on his personal Instagram account through the stories, Gerrard fired his congratulations across.
“Congratulations Rangers,” he wrote.

Unbelievable.
This comes as Gerrard is really starting to struggle at Aston Villa, with that early new manager boost running out.
It certainly hasn’t left Giovanni van Bronckhorst yet, as he continues to work his magic on this Rangers squad at Ibrox.
Gerrard certainly brought us plenty of these nights too, with huge wins over the likes of Braga, Galatasaray and last season’s run.
But, this was different, this was a massive shift in the power in Scotland.
Even those across the city in Glasgow will have taken a step back and raised their eyebrows over the past week, and this is the perfect motivation for us to kick on in the Scottish Premiership now.
There is a gap to chase up, and we need to bring it back as soon as possible, with the next Old Firm at the start of April.
Winning in Europe is special, and hopefully, it can kicks us on to defend that silverware and lift the title yet again.
