Rangers’ Ibrox stadium captivates Jude Bellingham – ‘What a Gaff’
Borussia Dortmund trained on Rangers’ Ibrox pitch today ahead of their Europa League clash tomorrow evening with the Gers 4-2 to the good.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s side shocked the German giants at Signal Iduna Park last week and hold a comfortable lead ahead of the return leg in Glasgow.
Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham is very excited to play in front of the raucous Ibrox crowd and he couldn’t hide his wonder when he walked into the arena for training today.
In one of Borussia Dortmund’s Twitter videos of training, they show the England international walking out at Ibrox for the first time and the teenager can be heard saying “what a gaff” as he does.
He backs up what he said last week about Ibrox (as quoted by the Scotland Herald): “It’s one of the best stadiums in Europe when it’s packed on a European night but bring it on!”
Starry-eyed
It is one of the most magnificent stadiums in Europe so it’s no surprise to see Bellingham take it all in on his first visit to the ground.
Rangers supporters will hope that he keeps staring at the wonderful stadium and ignores his role in the game to ease any concerns they might have about a stunning turnaround.

Bellingham has become a real star in Germany and is now one of the main men in the Dortmund side despite his youthfulness.
It will be a tough task for the Gers midfield to contain the Englishman if he is on form so maybe a reducer or two early on might quash his impact on the game.
As long as van Bronckhorst and his men are able to keep the excitement of the game to a minimum and stay alert to Dortmund’s fast attacking start, they should be good to advance to the next round.
In other Rangers news, three senior players have been ruled out of the big Europa League tie tomorrow.
