Alfredo Morelos has ‘clear objective’ ahead of Rangers clash with Borussia Dortmund
Rangers are ready to complete the job against Borussia Dortmund in the Europa League on Thursday and Alfredo Morelos will be key once again.
The Colombian scored at Signal Iduna Park in the first leg last week and has his eyes set on lofty ambitions ahead of the return leg tomorrow evening.
He already has three goals to his name in the Europa League this season but that is still half of what Karl Toko Ekambi and Galeno have scored for Lyon and Braga respectively.

The 25-year-old wants to kick on for the rest of this season and end the competition above both of these and that needs to start tomorrow against Dortmund.
“My objective is clear – to become the top scorer in the competition. That’s my aim,” Morelos said, as quoted by Glasgow World.
“But the only way to achieve that is with a lot of work and keep scoring goals.”
Long shot
The ambition of Morelos is exactly what Rangers fans want to hear, but maybe it is a bit far-fetched in reality.

For the Colombian to reach seven goals and usurp Toko Ekambi and Galeno, the Light Blues would probably have to get past Dortmund and the next round to give him enough chances.
He could score a hat-trick tomorrow and make all of this obsolete but that seems unlikely despite how easily the Gers breezed through the yellow wall last week.
Goals aren’t the priority for Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s side tomorrow however as they simply hope to stop Dortmund from overturning the 4-2 deficit they face at the halfway stage of the tie.
Morelos’ own ambitions need to be nullified tomorrow night and the team put first to send Ibrox into raptures.
In other Rangers news, the early team news ahead of tomorrow has three senior players ruled out for van Bronckhorst.
