Kris Commons takes aim at Rangers winger Amad Diallo v Dundee United
Kris Commons has criticised Amad Diallo for his poor decision-making after Rangers drew 1-1 against Dundee United on Sunday [20 February] in the Scottish Premier League.
The Gers were outstanding in the midweek when they won 4-2 against Borussia Dortmund in the Europa League on Thursday.
However, it’s their domestic form that is a real worry. They have struggled after the winter break, and have been dropping points away from home.

Diallo, who joined on loan from Manchester United, has only shone in patches, and Commons feels he is already in a “wrong movie”.
The Sky Sports pundit wrote in his column for The Daily Mail (21 February; page 3]: “As for Amad Diallo, he already looks like he’s in the wrong movie. Just because Manchester United spent £37million on him, that’s no guarantee of success.
“He had a great chance late in the game yesterday and hit the post. He could have squared the ball to Fashion Sakala who would have had a tap-in. That can be the difference in tight, stuffy games.”
Time running out
United paid a huge sum to sign Diallo but he has hardly made an impact at Old Trafford.
Rangers signed Diallo and Aaron Ramsey on loan in January, and both these players have hardly made an impact.
Diallo had a great chance to score for Rangers but he only managed to hit the post. He should have passed it to Fashion Sakala who was in a very good position but went for glory himself.

He is only 19 and lacks experience. For the Gers, it was another crucial blow in the title race and they now trail Celtic by three points.
The away form needs to improve. They have managed to take just three points from their last four away games and that is something Giovanni van Bronckhorst must address immediately.
Obviously, there’s plenty of time left to make necessary adjustments. Around 11 games are left to be played, including two Old Firm derbies. But Rangers need to improve as their present form is not acceptable.
