Door open for SFA to hand Rangers star Ryan Jack retrospective ban after incident v Dundee United

Rangers midfielder Ryan Jack is now facing a nervous wait with a retrospective ban on the cards this week.

That’s according to Football Scotland, who report that the door is open for the SFA to look into the incident from the 1-1 draw against Dundee United.

Jack timed his challenge on Dylan Levitt wrong towards the end of the clash at Tannadice and appeared to catch his man with his studs.

Bobby Madden took no action at the time but looking at his performance, that means little to nothing, to be honest.

The referee once again put in another shocker of a performance, missing clear cut fouls, penalties and incidents.

Jack’s tackle wasn’t great, but Ross Graham should have been sent off ages before that happened.

The defender was already booked before he nearly ripped the shirt off Fashion Sakala’s back as he looked certain to tap home.

Here we go.

It’s not like the SFA to take a look into incidents such as this one and poke their noses into things to make them more relevant.

Giovanni van Bronckhorst fumed about the lack of VAR in Scotland, and it would have cleared up numerous incidents.

First of all, Rangers would be easily ahead, but we have to be honest, Jack could have been in trouble looking into the image stills.

Having said that, Levitt didn’t make huge complaints and Madden, of course, didn’t see anything despite being right under the issue.

We’re all expecting a ban, let’s be honest, it’s just what the SFA do as soon as one of our own are involved in something.
