Rangers confirmed XI v Dundee United: Morelos starts

Giovanni van Bronckhorst has named his Rangers playing XI to take on Dundee United in the SPFL on Sunday.

After an impressive 4-2 win over Borussia Dortmund, there would have been a tendency to rest a few key names.

However, with the league title still up for grabs, the Dutchman has decided to name a strong team against Dundee United.

The likes of Alfredo Morelos, Ryan Kent and James Tavernier all retain their spots in the playing XI.

Ryan Jack was exceptional in midfield against Borussia Dortmund and despite only returning from an injury recently, he continues to be given the nod over Glen Kamara.

Win this

Dundee United are enjoying a good run of form so this one is far from a foregone conclusion.

GvB’s men will have to be at their best if they are to pick up maximum points from this one.

After losing the Old Firm derby, there is absolutely no room for complacency among the Gers setup.

They silenced their critics with a remarkable 4-2 win over Borussia Dortmund but it’s now time to deliver in the league.

Celtic are not likely to drop too many points from now until the end of the season so every game must be treated like a cup final.

The manager has proven that he can get a tune out of most of the players so this should be a riveting encounter today.

In other Rangers news, the club could have signed a ‘Combative’ centre mid whose father was an Ibrox icon.
