Chris Sutton reacts to recent Rangers-Celtic controversy
Chris Sutton has offered Rangers a solution after their recent tussle with Celtic over ticket allocation.
Celtic hit back at Gers chief Stewart Robertson after he claimed that there will be away fans for the two remaining games this season.
Via the Daily Record, the Hoops said, “Further to recent media reports regarding ticket allocations for away fans at Celtic Park, to clarify, Celtic determines the allocation for visiting teams at Celtic Park and will confirm the position for future matches at the appropriate time.”
Sutton responded to this recent statement on his personal Twitter account.
He wrote, “The way to resolve this is for Rangers to allow the old away allocation of 8000… then we can move on for the better of the game.”
Fair enough
We can’t believe that we’re on Sutton’s side here on an argument about Rangers.
This entire row is childish and Gers need to be the adults in the room and resolve it, once and for all.
There’s no fun in having Old Firm games with only the home fans in attendance.

Football and rivalries and are supposed to have representation from both sides as the atmosphere that generates is second to none.
The Old Firm derby is clearly one of the biggest rivalries in world football and not having away fans does not do the fixture any justice.
Hopefully, this row comes to a halt soon and things improve for the better in the coming years.
In other Rangers news, the club could have signed a ‘Combative’ centre mid whose father was an Ibrox icon.
