Rangers predicted XI v Borussia Dortmund after van Bronckhorst shares update
Giovanni van Bronckhorst is predicted to make wholesale changes to his starting line-up ahead of Rangers’ Europa League showdown with Borussia Dortmund at Signal Iduna Park on Thursday.
Van Bronckhorst is expected to make nine changes to the side that won 3-0 at Annan in the Scottish Cup on Saturday.
Borna Barisic and Aaron Ramsey could be the only players to keep hold of their spots in the line-up with van Bronckhorst confirming on Wednesday morning [16 February] that Filip Helander (unregistered) and Leon Balogun (injured) are unavailable in Germany.

Ryan Jack has made the journey to Dortmund. However, it’s unlikely that he’ll start with van Bronckhorst potentially handing Ramsey the chance to shine on a big occasion.
It means that the nine players to drop out of the side could be: goalkeeper Jon McLaughlin, January signings Mateusz Zukowski, Amad Diallo and James Sands and senior players Helander, Steven Davis, Scott Wright, Fashion Sakala and Kemar Roofe.

It means that we expect Allan McGregor to start in goals behind a familiar-looking back-four of James Tavernier, Connor Goldson, Calvin Bassey and Barisic.
Glen Kamara, loan star Ramsey and the in-form John Lundstram could line up in the centre of the park for van Bronckhorst.
Joe Aribo and Ryan Kent are expected to start in the wide attacking areas while it’s pretty much nailed-on that Alfredo Morelos will start up front as van Bronckhorst’s lone striker.
In other Rangers news, the club’s official Twitter account has responded to Ramsey’s agent hitting out at a journalist.
