Brentford and Southampton can double wages of Rangers duo Joe Aribo and Ryan Kent
Chris Jack believes that Premier League clubs could price Joe Aribo and Ryan Kent to leave Rangers in the summer.
The Glasgow Evening Times journalist claims that the likes of Brentford and Southampton could go to the players’ agents and could be willing to double their wages.
This could put Gers at a risk as they cannot go beyond their threshold as it would risk breaking their wage structure.

Speaking to Give Me Sport, Jack said, “There’s only so high they can go in terms of wages. Premier League clubs could blow them out of the water in terms of wages, so Rangers could reach their limit on Joe Aribo and Ryan Kent.
“Their agent could go to a Southampton or a Brentford and say double it and it would be no problem at all. They’d just say ‘here’s your money’.”
Big worry
While Brentford and Southampton are not the biggest of Premier League clubs, they still have the money to do that.
The league offers all its sides a ridiculous amount of money through broadcasting and sponsorships that even the worst teams can outspend clubs like Rangers.
It’s a harsh reality but that’s how things work south of the border and it’s something we have to get used to.

Also, if Aribo and Jack especially, are to further their international credentials, the limelight is bigger in the Premier League.
While Gers are a heavily followed club, the SPFL cannot match England’s top flight’s viewership numbers.
Kent, who has been touted for an England cap, knows himself that he would be better suited to making Gareth Southgate’s team if he was in the Premier League.
We saw with Steven Gerrard how the lure of the English top division was enough for him to ditch his Ibrox project for a club that were then fighting against relegation.
In other Rangers news, the club could have signed a ‘Combative’ centre mid whose father was an Ibrox icon.
