Rangers sent warning by Borussia Dortmund ahead of Europa League tie
Rangers head to Germany on Thursday to take on Borussia Dortmund in the Europa League and the Bundesliga side are ready for the fight.
The Black and Yellow had been under fire from the media following a rough run of results but they bounced back in style against Union Berlin, with goals from Marco Reus (x2) and Raphael Guerreiro sealing a 3-0 win.
Immediately after the game, the Dortmund social media team took aim at the Light Blues in a bid to get an early mental headstart on the Scottish champions.
In a very simple tweet, BVB said: “See you soon, @RangersFC,” as they prepare to host the Gers at Signal Iduna Park in midweek.
Not worried
You can’t see how this little tweet is going to affect the Rangers squad in any way but it can only come back to bite them if the Light Blues get a result on German soil.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst will welcome Dortmund’s confidence as almost arrogance in assuming they will win and that is great news for Rangers.

The Dutchman should use this small message as a motivation tool for his players to make sure they prove a point to the former Champions League finalists.
Rangers do have the advantage of being able to rest the majority of their star players, such as Alfredo Morelos, Joe Aribo, Connor Goldson and Ryan Kent, in the Scottish cup against Annan Athletic.
They won that by the same scoreline Dortmund beat Union Berlin but the Black and Yellow had to play their full-strength side to do so.
They didn’t have goal machine Erling Haaland however who is nursing a hip injury but he could be back for the Gers’ visit to Germany.
In other Rangers news, this Rangers loanee has been named among the top 50 teenagers in world football.
