“It has allowed Rangers to give more game time to some more players and Alex Lowry has shown some excellent touches.”

Good game

Cup ties are great for youngsters to get some experience playing at a higher level.

Lowry has mainly played UEFA Youth League and other junior competitions this season.

To play for the first team would have been a sensational experience for him and he delivered whatever the manager would have wanted from him.

Giovanni van Bronckhorst does promote youth when given the chance and the teenager could be a first-team regular in the near future.
