Rangers boss Giovanni van Bronckhorst has hailed Alfredo Morelos after the 2-0 victory over Hibernian last night (February 9).
The 25-year-old was on the scoresheet yet again as the Gers remained hotly on the heels of league leaders Celtic following their 2-0 victory.
The Colombian has been in emphatic form since making his Ibrox return having been away on international duty.
“Our objective was to make movements to get the ball to Alfredo and to play off him,” the Dutchman said as per Glasgow Live.
“He did really well first half, because when we found him, he had already turned away and tried to find Ryan (Kent) on the left if he was isolated with the defender, or he could link up with other midfield players.
“We knew against a defensive team we needed runners behind the defence and of course, you need a player who can hold the ball.
“I think Morelos is doing really well in finding the moments to be available as a target man but also keep his threat in the 18-yard box because that is where he is very dangerous.
“I think his knowledge of when to come or when to stay away is getting better and better.”

Morelos has returned with a bang since coming back from international duty with Columbia.
The Bears were desperate for his return having only won one out of the three games their talisman missed.
He is absolutely vital for van Bronckhorst’s push for the title as he has proven time and time again.
A mightily impressive 21 goal involvements in all competitions sees him top the Rangers charts this season with more goals and assists than any other player in all competitions.
Under no circumstance should he be allowed to leave the Gers unless for an extortionate price of course.
He Is far too important to the team and has cemented his place as one of the league’s best during his lively four years so far in Scotland.
