View: Predicted Rangers starting XI v Hibernian as Giovanni van Bronckhorst rotates

Rangers welcome Hibernian to Ibrox on Wednesday evening (9 February) as they look to kick on in the Scottish Premiership.

Giovanni van Bronckhorst got the perfect response from his team in the 5-0 thumping of Hearts, with rotation key behind that.

The Dutchman could ring the changes again tomorrow, as he looks to keep things fresh for the Light Blues, who had looked tired.

Allan McGregor will continue in goal, with the veteran picking up a much-needed clean sheet with some solid saves on Sunday.

James Tavernier, Connor Goldson and Leon Balogun will continue as usual, with not much option to rotate things in those areas right now.

Calvin Bassey has been immense in recent months, but he will be crying out for a rest, and Borna Barisic will get the chance to redeem himself after the Old Firm disaster.

Ryan Jack will anchor the midfield and provide the defence with cover with his return a huge boost in the past week.

Glen Kamara will come into midfield after his goalscoring cameo against Hearts, with Aaron Ramsey also earning his full debut for the Bears after getting the loudest cheer of the afternoon on Sunday.

That means John Lundstram will drop out, but mainly due to the numerous options we have, rather than a bad performance.

Joe Aribo will move into the front three to accommodate that midfield, taking the place of Scott Arfield on the right-hand side and cutting in.

Despite scoring, Arfield will drop out mainly due to how untouchable both Ryan Kent and Alfredo Morelos were at the weekend, with that duo the key to another vital three points here.

Here’s how we expect the Bears to line up on Wednesday…
