Rangers want to sign Schalke goalkeeper Martin Fraisl
Rangers are monitoring Schalke goalkeeper Martin Fraisl with a view to making a move for the Austrian in the summer, according to the Daily Mail.
The 28-year-old is out of contract at the Bundesliga 2 side at the end of the season and the Light Blues are among the clubs interested in his services.
English Premier League relegation fighters Norwich City are the other club named in the hunt for Fraisl but the Daily Mail also state that clubs across Europe are also interested.

He only signed a one-year deal with Schalke and has played 14 times this season, keeping five clean sheets in the process.
As he is in the last six months of his deal, European clubs can approach him directly over a free transfer but he could still stay in Germany if Schalke decide to offer him a new deal.
Worthy challenger
Goalkeeper has long been a debated position in the Rangers side and even more so in recent weeks.

The 40-year-old Allan McGregor made a horror mistake in the 3-3 draw with Ross County but he redeemed himself with a fine performance at Parkhead despite losing 3-0 to Celtic.
Jon McLaughlin is the club’s current backup and has signed a new deal at Ibrox recently but he is yet to break into the first-team properly.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst will need to sort that position out as soon as possible so he can begin building the rest of his ideal side with plenty of time to spare in the transfer window.
Fraisl seems to be a great option in between the sticks and the prospect of a free transfer is another thing that will entice Rangers into attempting to make a deal.
