Rangers set for wholesale changes v Hearts, Leon Balogun and Ryan Jack to start – report

Rangers are set to make wholesale changes for their upcoming clash against Hearts, according to The Scotsman.

It is reported that Ryan Jack and Leon Balogun are poised to come in, getting their first starts in months at Ibrox.

As well as those two, Alfredo Morelos could come in with Aaron Ramsey potentially making his full debut.

The Celtic game was a real wake up call for everyone, starting with Giovanni van Bronckhorst at the top.

Our starting XI was humiliated in the first half, and it took serious changes to make the second half more bearable.

Jack and Balogun both came on and Parkhead, and it spoke volumes that the first of those was our best player on the park.

Changes.

Those two simply have to be guaranteed.

As well as that, Ramsey and Morelos coming in would make a huge difference in midfield and the final third.

Something was lacking going forward at Parkhead, and bringing in these two simply has to happen.

Kemar Roofe and Cedric Itten have both failed to catch the eye in the absence of the Bufalo, and it is time he comes back in, no matter how much time he has had to recover since coming back from Colombia.

Ramsey needs to show why we are all so excited to see him at the club too, he is here to win us the title, and that has to start on Sunday.

We can’t wait to welcome Hearts to Glasgow, and really kickstart our season once again, maybe Wednesday was the kick we all needed.
