Jim White reacts to what Ally McCoist said during Rangers loss v Celtic
Jim White has reacted to Ally McCoist’s commentary during Rangers heavy defeat against Celtic on Wednesday evening.
The talkSPORT host agreed that the Bears were “appalling” during the latest edition of the Old Firm at Parkhead.
Rangers were 3-0 down by half-time, and White couldn’t believe it was such a no-contest after their domination in previous years.
Speaking live on talkSPORT’s White and Jordan this morning (03 February), the host admitted with everything McCoist said.
“It was absolutely no contest,” he said.
“I heard Ally McCoist on commentary on Sky last night, saying what is wrong with Rangers? They are appalling.”
Appalling.
There is no getting away from this one.
We have to hold our hands up and admit that we were embarrassed in the biggest game of the season, it simply wasn’t good enough.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst has to get the players into Auchenhowie with some double sessions before the game with Hearts, an inquest has to be heard.
It was not good enough, and thankfully, there weren’t any away fans in Parkhead to have to go through that abomination.
There are still months to go in this season and there will be many twists and turns to go in the race for the Champions League.
Hopefully, this is the kick the Bears needed to put their foot down and return to their very best, as it will be needed to defend the Scottish Premiership title.
