Ally McCoist and Andy Walker react to Ryan Jack impact in 2nd half incident for Rangers at Celtic
Ryan Jack was one of the few positives for Rangers on a dismal night at Celtic Park, and he had the Sky Sports pundits wowed late in the second half.
As the game was heading into the closing stages with Gers still 3-0 down, the half-time substitute lined up a thunderbolt from range that came crashing back off the cross bar.
It summed up the impact the 29-year-old midfielder made after being part of a triple substitution made at the break, and it impressed Ally McCoist and Andy Walker.

With the majority of his side performing abjectly on the night, he at least retained some respectability and could have been the start of a come-back had his shot been slightly lower.
Reacting live on the Sky Sports match broadcast, Light Blues legend McCoist said: “What a hit Andy, you could see it coming as well, he was lining himself up for it”
Former Celtic man Walker agreed, saying: “Terrific strike. Had Joe Hart scrambling. Controlled the power really well.”
McCoist acknowledged how close it came to reducing the deficit having got past Hart, adding: “Aye, it’s beaten him.”
Silver lining
A dreadful night at Parkhead did not provide much for Rangers fans to hold onto but the former-Aberdeen man was at least one small consolation.
He brought some control to the midfield in the second half, although there was an element of the home side relaxing from their first-half level.
The shot that cannoned back of the bar heading into the final 10 minutes was just like many other things on the night, a small opportunity for Gers to get something out of a situation where they were clearly second best, but fine margins were the difference and gave them nothing to build from.

Clearly, the starting lineup was not fully prepared for what should have been obvious would have been an intense atmosphere, so maybe things could have been different if Jack had been one of the first XI.
But there will be plenty of ifs and buts resulting from a damaging occasion.
It will be imperative for the players and manager to act on ones that can make a difference going forward, and block out everything else.
In other Rangers news, Chris Sutton was in full wind-up mode after the final whistle.
