Simon Jordan urges Rangers and Celtic to act like adults
Simon Jordan wants either Rangers or Celtic to end the petty feud and allow fans back into the away ends for Old Firm derbies.
Wednesday’s Old Firm derby at Parkhead will not have any Gers fans in attendance with a full house of only Celtic fans.
The Ibrox giants did the same thing in the reverse fixture and now are seeing their arch rivals replicate it.

Speaking about it on talkSPORT, Jordan said, “I know there’s sectarianism. But not having away fans, that can’t be indulged. The biggest games in Scottish football are Rangers v Celtic.
“It’s a shame for Scottish football that they cannot have away fans in. It shows the weakness of the people running the game.
“It’s a petty feud of tit for tat which the authorities need to stop. It’s childish and someone needs to be the adult in the room.”
Spot on
Old Firm derbies are nothing without the hostile reactions from the two sets of fans.
Having just home fans in attendance makes very little sense and it’s against the nature of football.
The sport is meant to have two sets of fans chanting and cheering their team on with every kick of the ball.

While issues like sectarianism, violence, racism, etc, cannot be tolerated, there can be proper policing for these games to ensure everything happens in a cordial manner.
The banter during Old Firm games is second to none and nothing beats winning away at Parkhead and celebrating in the away end.
If Celtic aren’t willing to blink first then Rangers must do something and ensure it doesn’t happen again.
In other Rangers news, the club could have signed a ‘Combative’ centre mid whose father was an Ibrox icon.
