Johnly Yfeko signing went under the radar at Rangers, he’s posed with new shirt in image
Rangers fans can be forgiven for getting lost in the hype of signing Aaron Ramsey from Juventus on deadline.
It’s a mammoth signing that’s already been dubbed by Ally McCoist as the biggest addition at Ibrox since Paul Gascoigne’s move to Glasgow in 1995 [talkSPORT].
Ramsey’s arrival overshadowed the signing of Polish right-back Mateusz Zurkowski from Lechia Gdansk earlier on deadline day.

But it also completely brushed over the fact that Rangers have also signed a young English left-back.
Johnly Yfeko has basically confirmed his move to Rangers by posting on Instagram on Sunday.
Yfeko, 18, uploaded an image of himself in what looks like the home dressing room at Ibrox with a Gers shirt with his name on it, as well as the number three.
Yfeko then captioned his post with a shaking hands emoji next to Rangers and said: “Thank you, God.”
Yfeko’s arrival has gone completely under the radar.
The former Leicester full-back has been up for grabs after he was released by the English Premier League club at the end of last season.
He’s going to be joining the Gers’ B team, according to Glasgow Evening Times journalist Chris Jack, who also reported last week that Southampton were interested in signing the young full-back.
We’re excited to see how he develops in Glasgow over the coming years because Leicester have a great academy and Southampton definitely know a talent when they see one.
Yfeko’s had a trial at Auchenhowie so the coaches will have been able to get a good assessment of him before striking a deal so we feel as though a lot of bases have been covered here.
Good luck, Johnly. We hope to see you challenging Borna Barisic and Calvin Bassey for a spot in the starting line-up soon.
