Alex Rae and Charlie Adam react on Twitter after Rangers sign Aaron Ramsey
Rangers confirmed the signing of Aaron Ramsey on loan from Juventus on transfer deadline day on Monday.
The former Arsenal midfielder has joined until the end of the season and he will add quality and competition in the middle of the park.
Former Rangers players Alex Rae and Charlie Adam have both taken to Twitter to express their reactions.

Rae wrote: “Welcome Aaron Ramsey to the world’s most successful club! The most successful Welshman ever to play in Scotland.”
BBC Sportscene pundit Adam wrote: “Massive signing for Rangers bringing in Aaron Ramsey. Great news for Scottish football.”
Stellar career
Ramsey, who joined the Old Lady on a free transfer from Arsenal, has dropped down the pecking order at the club and he was out of favour.
The Serie A giants were desperate to get rid of the Welshman who reportedly attracted interest from Burnley and elsewhere.
According to reports from the Daily Mail, Juve’s desperation to move him out has been largely motivated by financial concerns.
Ramsey is reportedly being paid around £400,000 annually, and another year to the deal could have cost Juventus around 20 million in wages.
The Italian club will continue to pay the bulk of his six-figure weekly wages while he is at Ibrox, however, there is an option for Rangers to buy the 31-year-old permanently next summer.
He made 371 appearances for the Gunners in a stellar 11-year spell where he won three FA Cup medals.
Ramsey made 83 appearances for Juventus in two and a half seasons. During that spell, he also added a Serie A title and a Coppa Italia to his name.
