Aaron Ramsey outlines potential debut for Rangers
Rangers new boy, Aaron Ramsey, has admitted he is unlikely to feature in Wednesday’s (February 2) Old Firm clash.
The 31-year-old may need a little more time to get up to speed after only playing 100 minutes for Juventus this season.
The Welshman could be ready in time to feature as the Gers welcome Hearts to Ibrox on Saturday (February 5).

Ramsey told Rangers TV: “I’m going to be a little bit short for the Old Firm game but hopefully I can get myself ready this week and look forward to getting ready for the weekend really.
“I’ve had these conversations with the manager and the staff and hopefully we can have a good plan in place for me to be able to get going and get back to match fitness as quickly as possible.”
He added “I had a few conversations with him (Giovanni van Bronckhorst) and I was very impressed with the way the meetings went. I’m very excited to be a part of the philosophy he wants to bring at this football club.
“It’s a good match and hopefully we can work well together and have many successful times.”
Patience
It’s a shame that the former Arsenal man wont feature against Celtic. It would have been nice to showcase the team’s newest superstar whilst hopefully extending the lead at the top of the table.

Whilst it would have been nice, Ramsey’s impact will extend much further than this weekend.
A player of his calibre will be huge in all areas for the Bears and will be a huge boost for their title hopes.
After not playing much for the Old Lady in recent times, Ramsey will naturally have to get back up to speed with football and will undoubtedly be continuing to do so the more he plays in Scotland.
For this reason, the fans need to be patient and not expect instant results from the 31-year-old purely based on his past achievements.
This is a very exciting deal for the club, and everyone will be eager to see how it pans out.
