Rangers paying £2m to loan Aaron Ramsey, have buy-clause – report
Rangers are to pay £2million to loan Aaron Ramsey from Juventus on deadline day, with an option to buy him for £4.5million in the summer according to Franco Leonetti.
The Bears have made a last-ditch attempt to bring the former Arsenal star to Ibrox on deadline day and it now seems that they may get their man.
Fabrizio Romano claimed earlier today that a deal was down to Ramsey, but progress has been made with the two clubs and a deal has been agreed.
According to Radio Bianconera‘s Leonetti, who is followed on Twitter by Jordan Campbell, the clubs have agreed to a loan with the right to redeem at the end of it.
Rangers will pay an initial £2m loan fee, with the option to buy him in the summer for £4.5m permanently.
Huge
The signing of Aaron Ramsey, if it goes through, is absolutely huge for Rangers Football Club and Scottish football as a whole.
Ramsey at his best was one of the best midfielders in Europe and it was no shock that Juventus stepped in to take him off Arsenal as his contract ran down in 2019.

But after two-and-a-half years in Turin, Ramsey has found himself out of the first-team plans under Max Allegri and is looking to rebuild his career elsewhere.
Rangers will provide him the chance to kickstart his career once again while also letting compete in Europe in the Europa League as well as a title race.
It’s unlikely he’d walk straight into the team having had little football recently, but he’d be a massive tilt in Rangers’ favour for the title race.
