Rangers move for Aaron Ramsey hinges on final details
Rangers will seal the signing of Juventus midfielder Aaron Ramsey on transfer deadline day, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Sky Sports journalist claims that a deal is already in place for the Wales international and it’s only down to the final terms.
He will sign on loan until the end of the season and there will be an option to buy in the deal as well.
Via his personal Twitter account, Romano wrote, “Rangers are set to sign Aaron Ramsey on loan from Juventus, deal finally in place. Final details to be completed on player side with his agent but it’s almost done. Buy option for Rangers will be included, as reported earlier.”
Good move
Ramsey is just the kind of big name signing Rangers needed to get their fans excited.
While he’s not the player he once was, he will certainly add bite to their current midfield.
He’s got the experience of playing in the biggest of games, both for Arsenal and Juventus.

His move to the Old Lady may not have panned out ideally for him, but he will be arriving at Ibrox with a point to prove.
He may be on the wrong side of 30, but the style of the league will suit him and we expect him to be banging plenty of goals and assists.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst will be delighted to sign a player of his calibre and the move could prove to be a masterstroke.
In other Rangers news, the club could sign a ‘Combative’ centre mid whose father was is an Ibrox icon.
