Mateusz Zukowski in Glasgow as he closes in on Rangers move
Lechia Gdansk right-back Mateusz Zukowski is in Glasgow as he closes in on a move to Rangers on deadline, according to Sky Sports.
The contract of the Poland under-21 international, 20, expires at the end of 2021-22, but a move to Ibrox is expected to go through in the coming hours.
Having parted with Nathan Patterson, Rangers need a quality cover and competition for James Tavernier, and Zukowski is expected to help provide that.

Getting serious
Zukowski is in Glasgow and that means a deal is all but wrapped up.
He has two goals in 18 league appearances this season and can also play further forward on the wings.
A medical would most likely have taken place already, and Rangers should be making an announcement anytime soon from the look of things.
They would have parted with a decent amount of cash in order to get Lechia Gdansk to sell, and the Polish outfit had no choice given that Zukowski has less than six months on his deal.

The youngster will now look to hit the ground running at Ibrox, and Giovanni van Bronckhorst is no longer short of options on the right, with a player capable of playing across the positions.
Rangers clearly need to make much-needed additions to their squad after recent draws to Aberdeen and Ross County cut their initial seven-point gap at the top of the table to just two ahead of midweek’s Old Firm derby, and landing Zukowski comes as a huge boost.
In other Rangers news, the BBC are facing a multi-million-pound defamation action over Gers documentary.
