Juventus ‘prepared to accept’ Rangers proposal for Aaron Ramsey – report
Rangers want to sign Juventus midfielder Aaron Ramsey in a deadline busting deal and the Serie A club are ‘prepared to accept’ according to Fabrizio Romano.
Ramsey has been linked with a move away from the Serie A giants all winter after being left out of Max Allegri’s plans this season.
He has made just two appearances so far for the club during the campaign and is looking to leave with 18 months remaining on his contract.
Having been linked with several Premier League clubs, Romano claims that Rangers have now made a move for the central midfielder and that Juventus are ‘prepared to accept’ a deal.
The deal hinges on Ramsey’s decision on whether to join the club or not, with a midnight deadline in Scotland for transfers to be completed.
Huge
Ramsey’s quality is undeniable, he just hasn’t been given a platform to show it in Italy since leaving Arsenal.
While at Arsenal, Ramsey was a key player as they won three FA Cups with the Welshman scoring in two finals as well as helping Wales to a historic run at Euro 2016.

His eye for goal would add something that Rangers don’t have from midfield, while he has plenty of experience and leadership qualities too as one of the captains of his country.
A deal is against the clock, with Ramsey still a member of the Juventus squad but they will not stand in his way and this is a deal that they should be shifting heaven and Earth for if they can get it done.
Ramsey would be one of the best midfielders in the country should he join, which could be the difference when it comes to the title race.
