‘Many possibilities’ – van Bronckhorst outlines Rangers remaining Jan plans
Giovanni van Bronckhorst has said that Rangers are “still open and have to be ready” with just a few days remaining in the January transfer window, according to Manchester Evening News.
Manchester City talent James McAtee, 19, is the newest youngster on the Gers radar after Amad Diallo was confirmed yesterday (January 27) on a loan deal until the end of the season.
The City sensation has been prolific with 19 goals in 20 academy games for City, earning three senior appearances under Pep Guardiola.

Van Bronckhorst has refused to speculate on any more potential business before the end of the window.
“We’re still open and have to be ready for the remainder of the next days but I won’t confirm or talk about other names than what we have here and what we have signed,” he said as per Manchester Evening News.
“We spoke with many possibilities we want to add and so far, I don’t have any news other than Amad [Diallo, from Manchester United] joining us.”
Talent welcome
As seen with yesterday’s announcement of Diallo, the Gers are keen on bringing in some of the hottest youth players from around the world and rightly so.
McAtee is clearly a very talented player if he is playing at Manchester City and performing so well.

His record with the academy this season speaks for itself and the Bears will be hoping he can replicate that in Glasgow.
The midfielder will be hungry to impress and improve as a player so van Bronckhorst can expect absolutely everything the teenager has to give as he knows City will also be watching.
Doing business and building relationships with some of the best clubs in the world is very smart from Rangers.
If they successfully blood and help develop these youngsters, it could lead to future business and more talented players coming to Ibrox.
He is certainly one for the future and hopefully the Gers can benefit from him being at the club for the rest of the season.
