Bologna manager confirms Rangers target Andreas Skov Olsen wants to leave

Bologna winger Andreas Skov Olsen is reportedly set for the exit door, amid links with Rangers.

According to Scotsman, Olsen, who is a Gers target, has made his feelings clear to manager Sinisa Mijahlovic that he’s not willing to stay on at the Italian club.

The Bologna manager has publically claimed that he’s not enjoying his time at the club anymore and that an exit could be the most likely outcome.

“Let’s say they weren’t ready,” Mihaljovic said when addressing Skov Olsen and Mitchell Dijks’ absence against Verona this weekend.

“They are two players who no longer enjoy being here and I can’t keep players here who pull out in our time of need.”

Skov Olsen never appeared to be settled at Bologna, especially after being moved from his natural position to play as a wing-back.

The Denmark international is an attacking player who’s not particularly keen on the defensive aspect of the game.

He is the most threatening when left to do his thing in the final third and not over 50 yards away from goal.

At Rangers, he will be expected to play in one of the three attacking positions and could even be Ryan Kent’s replacement should he leave.

The English winger has been linked with a move to the Premier League and a summer exit could very well be on the cards for him.

If that does happen, then Skov Olsen is a readymade alternative who can step in and deliver for Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s side.

Serie A expert Connor Clancy, told GiveMeSport that the “fantastic” Olsen would thrive under the Dutchman and we cannot wait to see that happen.
