Alex Rae delivers damning verdict on Rangers attacker Brandon Barker
Alex Rae thinks Brandon Barker has played his last game for Rangers after watching him feature in the win over Stirling Albion on Friday night.
In his first start of the season, Barker did little to prove to Giovanni van Bronckhorst as to why he has a future at Ibrox.
He struggled to get his head into the game and looked severely off the pace against the League Two side.

Speaking on Clyde Superscoreboard, the BT Sport pundit Rae, said, “I think you look at Brandon Barker, I thought Barker was really poor.
“I think he’s probably played his last game for the football club.
“You are looking at a guy who has hardly featured and on the performance last night, I don’t think he’s done enough.”
Time to go
Barker struggled to establish himself as a first-team player under Steven Gerrard and the same thing has happened under GvB.
It seems like he’s not one of the standout performers in training either otherwise he would’ve caught the eye of at least one of the coaches.

This was his first start of the season which is a great hint as to how highly rated he is by the coaching staff at Ibrox.
Karl Robinson once described the winger as an “incredible” talent, but we’ve not seen him live up to that label thus far.
Cashing in on him while the window is open may be the best thing, but whether or not there’s a market for him, remains to be seen.
