David Edgar reacts as Rangers issues two-day notice for Continuous Credit Card Scheme payment
David Edgar has blasted Rangers after their two-day notice for a payment being taken on Continuous Credit Card Scheme, hitting on Twitter.
The scheme allows Season Ticket holders to sign up in advance for games that are not included in their Season Ticket, and writing on the Heart & Hand Podcast’s official Twitter account on Friday afternoon, the club’s official media partner was not happy with the short notice fans were given as regarding payment.
Rangers claimed on their website that they will notify Season Ticket holders of prices and payment dates at least 14 days prior to the match, but they have not given their followers enough time to prepare, and Edgar was not happy.

He said: “Two days notice for a payment being taken on CCCS towards the end of January is ridiculous.
“It’s also unnecessary. No reason this couldn’t have been communicated a fortnight ago to let people prepare.”
Do better
It is not the first time that such has happened, and the Ibrox outfit need to learn how to put their fans first.
They could have at least waited until the end of the month before deciding to take payments, and Stewart Robertson has to provide better customer service.
With payday approaching for most fans, the short notice is definitely not fair on those who pay for multiple season tickets. Rangers should know better and provide an earlier notice as the game is over a month away.
The timing of withdrawals has to be convenient for everyone, and it is a very inconsiderate move from the club.

Fans are only asking for a longer notice in order to allow everyone to prepare in advance for the payment.
Rangers do not only have to do well on the pitch, the management and board also have to be sensible when dealing with the fans and such payments, and they have not done so this time.
That has to change as fans are tired of it happening.
