Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos set to miss Old Firm clash v Celtic
Rangers have suffered a huge blow today as Alfredo Morelos is set to miss the Old Firm clash.
The in-form striker has been recalled by Columbia national team for the World Cup qualifiers, and he will miss the re-scheduled Old Firm game.
The Gers are already without key midfielder Joe Aribo as he is participating in the AFCON for Nigeria.

Here’s the full team (via Carl Worswick):
Blow
This was the first time since Copa America in the summer, Morelos got a call-up to the national team.
He has been simply excellent under Giovanni van Bronckhorst. When on a song, he is simply “unplayable” and missing him for the crunch game against Celtic will be a massive blow for the club.
Columbia will play a double-header against Peru (28 January) and Argentina (1 February) and thus will miss the clash at Celtic Park.
Morelos will also miss the clash against Ross County and he is likely to miss the clash against Livingston as well.

It will be interesting to see how the champions cope with the absence of two of their best players.
Kemar Roofe has recently returned from injuries and he will probably fill the role in the absence of the Colombian.
Meanwhile, Rangers are just four points ahead of Celtic in the SPFL after managing a 1-1 draw against Aberdeen on Tuesday (18 January) at Pittodrie.
In other Rangers news, this ex-manager wants to see a Rangers star earn another contract despite concerns.
