Gio Van Bronckhorst says Rangers are ‘fully prepared’ for more January business
Rangers boss Giovanni van Bronckhorst has claimed that “anything can happen” whilst the January transfer window remains open.
With the window closing in just 11 days (January 31), the Gers are “fully prepared” for any more business that may arise.
Speaking ahead of Rangers’ clash with Stirling Albion on Friday (January 21), van Bronckhorst said: “The window is still open for another 11 days, anything can happen in that time and we are fully prepared.”

Caution to the wind
Van Bronckhorst has left us all guessing with these comments; He suggests that Rangers are still looking to carry out more business before the window ends.
The huge fee of £12.6million that Everton paid for Nathan Patterson could and should be used to strengthen the squad.
Despite Patterson barely featuring, that money is vital for the sustainable development of the first team. He was a future Rangers star, so it is important to use that money for immediate and long-term success at Ibrox.

Rangers can’t afford to let any more important players leave without replacements in line.
There are rumours linking several key players away from Glasgow by the end of the window, including the likes of Borna Barisic, John Lundstram, Joe Aribo and Glen Kamara with Jermain Defoe already departing which admittedly doesn’t seem significant.
With these departures unlikely, Gio’s comments have thrown caution to the wind with more January business now expected.
Hopefully, the Bears strengthen rather than sell as they push for the title.
