Rangers want to sign Zak Lovelace from Millwall – report
Rangers want to sign Millwall youngster Zak Lovelace and are one of several clubs on his case, according to The Daily Record.
The 15-year-old striker recently made his first-team debut for the club as a substitute against Coventry, after receiving permission to play for the club from his school.
The Daily Record are reporting that Rangers have watched him regularly this season. Other clubs interested include Leicester City and Brighton.

Lovelace is considered as one of the “brightest talents” to come out of the Millwall academy in recent years and turns 16 later this week.
He is currently on a youth contract and Millwall are desperate for him to sign professional terms with them once he is able to next year, having signed him aged 13 after spells with Crystal Palace and Brighton’s academy.
Prospect
Rangers love a good prospect and there aren’t many better than Lovelace around the country right now.
Lovelace has scored 20 goals for the club at Under-16, 18 and 23 levels so far despite his age and is regularly training with the first team at The New Den.

Should Rangers be able to secure his signing, the likelihood is he will go into the academy set up, to begin with, but having a look at progressing him into the first-team picture as soon as possible.
At 15 it is obviously a gamble to bring him in, with so much development still needed but the talent is undeniable and Rangers could provide a place away from the limelight in England but still offer regular football and a chase for silverware early on.
It’s an exciting chase to be part of for one of the hottest youngsters in the country, so if Scotland can bring him north of the border then it is surely a big win for the club’s recruitment department.
