James Sands could be handed immediate Rangers debut v Aberdeen
New Rangers loan signing James Sands could be thrown straight into the starting eleven against Aberdeen on Tuesday night.
According to the Scotsman, the 21-year-old may be pushed up the pecking order due to the number of unavailable players for the encounter.
Scott Arfield and Steven Davis are injured while Joe Aribo is out on international duty with Nigeria at the AFCON.

Sands arrived with very little fanfare at the start of the month from the United States of America.
He hasn’t been a household name in American football, but he’s arrived at the club for a reason and it’s time to see what that is.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst would’ve liked to have eased him in, but the absentees make it impossible to exclude his chances of a debut here.
While he may not have any experience of Scottish football, he came to the club highy-recommended and we back him to thrive at the heart of the Gers midfield.
New York City FC sporting director David Lee has also spoken about the midfielder in glowing terms.
Speaking to The Athletic, Lee said, “Tactically he is outstanding, he reads the game fantastically well and he’s technically excellent whether playing centre-back or midfield.
“They’re the things that can sometimes go unnoticed but they don’t when you work with him.”
This is precisely the type of player GvB would want at the club and it now remains to be seen whether he thinks Sands is ready to start this game.
