Rangers join Crystal Palace in the race to sign Lyndon Dykes
Rangers have joined Newcastle United to sign Queens Park Rangers striker Lyndon Dykes in the January transfer window, according to reports from TEAMTalk.
A host of clubs are vying for his signature, with the likes of Burnley, Crystal Palace and Norwich City are keen.
The Scotland international is under contract at Loftus Road until June 2024.

Interesting
Dykes scored 12 goals last season for QPR and has continued his impressive form, managing six goals in 14 starts so far.
The 26-year-old became the first Scotland player to score in four consecutive games since 1969 when he scored during the international break in October.
Former Rangers hero, Barry Ferguson, hailed him as a “real deal”, and felt the Gers could be left out of the market when he’ll leave Loftus Road for a brighter future.

Do Rangers need to sign another striker?
The priorities will obviously lie in bolstering the defence, but adding depth in the forward department could also be in Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s mind.
Alfredo Morelos continues to be linked away from Ibrox [90 Min], while Jermain Defoe appears to be more interested in doing Sky Sports commentary these days. Kemar Roofe has struggled with injuries and another new addition won’t be a bad option.
The likes of Crystal Palace and Newcastle have more financial power in the transfer market, but a move to Rangers could still appeal to Dykes.
