Van Bronckhorst told how many players he can sign after Rangers rake in £16m from Patterson deal
Giovanni van Bronckhorst has been told that he will get some money to spend from the £16million Rangers made from Nathan Patterson’s sale.
According to The Daily Record, the club are set to sign at least three players this month after completing a deal for James Sands.
While all the funds received from Everton will not be put back into building the squad, the Dutchman will have enough to bring multiple names through the door.

Good news
Patterson’s sale may have left a bitter aftertaste but the funds generated are going to be extremely beneficial and could make the first team stronger which is something the fans and manager would want.
It seemed like the 20-year-old was always going to be on his way out if he didn’t get the playing time he desired.
With James Tavernier, the club captain being the first-choice right-back, and there being no inclination from either Steven Gerrard or GvB to play both in the same team, it seemed the best move for him in terms of his career.
This gives Rangers countless possibilities in the January window and hopefully, they sign a replacement for Patterson first.

With Connor Goldson expected to leave, a centre-back will also be a priority while midfield reinforcements could also be on their way.
These are interesting times for the Ibrox giants and it remains to be seen how they allocate the Patterson funds.
In other Rangers news, a ‘Fantastic’ Gers player may have played his final game for the club and his Ibrox exit seems set in stone
