Derek McInnes wants to bring Rangers man Kai Kennedy to Kilmarnock on loan
Kilmarnock boss Derek McInnes wants to sign Rangers attacker Kai Kennedy on loan in January, according to Football Scotland.
The 19-year-old have had his loan spell at Dunfermline cut short earlier this month, and he is expected to leave Ibrox temporarily until the end of 2021-22.
McInnes will make a decision on a loan move in the coming days, and the Rugby Park outfit could make Kennedy the first signing of their new manager.

Good move
The Rangers sensation also has other loan options on the table, but linking up with a manager like McInnes could be perfect for his development.
The former Aberdeen boss admitted back in November that he would be open to succeeding Steven Gerrard at Ibrox, but he has now been tasked with helping the Killie return to the Scottish top-flight.
It is a massive project that could come in handy for Kennedy.
The teenager will be keen to prove that he has what it takes to become a first-team regular for the Light Blues in the near future, and learning the ropes under a former Rangers player could be perfect for him.
Kennedy will be looking to make the most of his fourth loan spell after earlier stints at Inverness Caley Thistle and Raith Rovers.

West Ham were linked with an interest in him last summer [Daily Record], while AS Roma, Bayern Munich, Manchester City and Sheffield United were all keen in the summer of 2020 [Daily Record].
He definitely still has the potential to attract the bigwigs again, and a move to Kilmarnock could do his career the world of good.
