Fabrizio Romano: Paperworks to be signed before Nathan Patterson officially leaves

Fabrizio Romano has shared that Rangers defender Nathan Patterson only needs to complete his medical and paperwork to join Everton.

The Sky Sports journalist has shared that once the paperwork is signed, the major transfer will be announced and confirmed.

Patterson is set to leave Ibrox in a club-record deal worth up to £16million in the coming days as the Premier League club moved quickly.

Writing on his personal Twitter account, Romano shared the latest state of play as Patterson finally heads down south.

“Nathan Patterson now prepared to undergo his medical tests as new Everton player,” he wrote. “Personal terms fully agreed, just waiting for contract signing. Here we go confirmed.

“Rangers will receive £12m plus bonuses for Patterson. Paperworks now – then official statement.”

Here we go.

It looks as though this one is finally going to go through, and it could be sealed as early as today looking at this.

Medicals don’t take too long, and with everything else said to be agreed, it may only need some signatures on dotted lines and we’re good to go.

The Bears are set for a much-needed major windfall that will not only ease their financial burden but allow them to jump into the market themselves.

Patterson is destined for the very top, and no one will have any bad feelings watching him leave as he gave the club a big pay-day.

It’s pivotal to move on quickly, though, and in the shape of James Sands from New York City FC, it looks as though the club is doing just that.
