Sky Sports man Andrew Dickson reacts as FourFourTwo ranks Rangers stadium above Celtic’s
Popular magazine FourFourTwo recently ranked the best 100 stadiums in Britain, with Rangers ground Ibrox emerging top of their list.
Celtic’s Parkhead was ranked number 2, and Gers-mad journalist Andrew Dickson – who freelances for Sky Sports – could not help but react on his personal Twitter account.
Rangers and their bitter rivals always find a way to aim a dig at each other, and FourFourTwo surely have stirred up a debate between both sets of fans for the next few days following their rankings.

Dickson said: “Pretty sure Four Four Two have a death wish given where they’ve ranked Glasgow’s big two…”
Facts?
Ibrox has less capacity (50,817 to 60,411) and was established (1899) shortly after Celtic Park (1892), but FFT claims they chose it as the top-ranking stadium ahead of the Hoops ground because fans are close to the pitch on all sides of the ground, with good views from pretty much anywhere.
They also pointed to the three sides of the stadium that are aesthetically smart as a reason.
The Rangers home ground holds the record attendance for any league match in Britain – 118,567 people saw the Light Blues face Celtic in 1939 – and that might have played a role in their decision too.

Of course, the Bhoys will not agree, but it cannot be denied that the Bears have been the better side on and off the pitch in recent months.
They stopped Celtic from winning a 10th consecutive league title in 2020-21 and have started the current season well, heading into the winter break six points clear at the top of the table after 20 games.
Rangers are on course to successfully defend their title despite the managerial change that threatened to derail their campaign, and the Hoops will be doing their best to stop them.
In other Rangers news, a billionaire-owned club want Bears ace, had rep at Ibrox of recent.
