Six Premier League clubs eyeing January deal for Rangers ace Glen Kamara
Aston Villa, Everton, Watford, Southampton, Burnley and Newcastle want Rangers midfielder Glen Kamara in January, according to TEAMtalk.
The Finnish ace, 26, recently signed a new contract with the Premiership giants until the summer of 2025, but he has a price tag, and the Ibrox outfit are aware of Villa’s interest in him.
Steven Gerrard’s side, owned by billionaires Wes Edens and Nassef Sawiris, want a replacement for Marvelous Nakamba, who has been ruled out for around four months with a knee problem, and they reckon Kamara could be perfect for the job following a recommendation by his old boss.

Possible?
The Bears will be keen to hold on to such an important player as Giovanni van Bronckhorst looks to help the side retain their title, but a juicy bid could force their hands.
The Athletic journalist Jordan Campbell reported back in August 2021 that Kamara was due to be rewarded for his performances with improved terms on the understanding that if a suitable bid comes in for him, then Rangers will do business.
Apart from Villa, Everton, Southampton and Newcastle are also owned by billionaires, and with him being one of several players the Light Blues are looking to make a profit on in the next few windows as they move to a sustainable recruitment model, an early sale could be very tempting if a huge offer is tabled.

Should they manage to hold on to Kamara beyond next month, keeping him beyond the end of the 2021-22 campaign could be herculean, with the ambition to play at a higher level and the riches available in the English top-flight bound to be too tempting.
