Rangers vent frustration at Nicola Sturgeon decision in recent statement
Rangers say that they are frustrated by the decision First Minister Nicola Sturgeon made on Wednesday to cap the number of fans at 500 at grounds.
After the decision, 10 of the 12 SPFL clubs proposed to bring forward the winter break, which was approved by the league.
Ross County were the only team along with Gers to have opposed this move, according to the Scottish Sun.

The Rangers statement read, “Rangers Football Club notes the recent announcement made by the First Minister, which will severely reduce the number of supporters able to access Ibrox Stadium for our Boxing Day fixture with St Mirren.
“This match will go ahead following discussions with fellow SPFL clubs in recent days.
“We share the immense frustration of our loyal fans, who would have ensured the match would have been a sell-out, however, we will now only be able to welcome a minuscule proportion of that proposed crowd to the stadium.
Baffling
It is a shocking decision to still have the cap at 500 even though the winter break has been brought forward.
The least the government could do was allow clubs to have one or two more games at full capacity.

Alas, that is not what is going to happen and the St Mirren clash will have just 500 in attendance.
Hopefully, these ridiculous rules do not continue after the winter break as there are no real restrictions south of the border.
Premier League clubs are having packed stadiums and anyone from Scotland can go there, but more than 500 cannot watch a game in the SPFL.
However, this means that Gers will go into the break as league leaders and they seem all set to retain their crown and win league title number 56.
In other Rangers news, the club want to sign a ‘Fantastic’ England international who is 28, and could get him to sign a pre-contract once the January window opens on 1st.
