Rangers may listen to offers north of £10million for Joe Aribo

Rangers could be willing to enter negotiations to sell Joe Aribo if an offer of over £10million is tabled for him, according to Football Scotland.

Per the same source, the Premier League trio of Watford, Brentford and Crystal Palace are keen on signing him.

It is now understood that even Southampton have joined the race and have already sent scouts to track him.

Good value?

The 25-year-old is one of Rangers’ hottest prospects at the moment, so Premier League interest comes as no surprise.

He certainly would make most of the clubs in the English top flight stronger and it remains to be seen whether a bid that matches Gers’ valuation is tabled in January.

Should the defending SPFL champions should a willingness to sell, they could drive up the price for the midfielder.

This could even spark a bidding war between some of the clubs desperate to go to that next level.

At 25, the Nigerian would offer a perfect option in terms of age and quality and also the potential to improve in the future.

Given how rich Premier League clubs are today, with their huge broadcasting deal, they could be willing to pay a big fee for Aribo should he want to leave and Rangers open to cashing in.

While Gers fans would love for him to stay, they understand that the club is run as a business and cashing on a player when their valuation is at its highest, does make a lot of sense.
