Rangers right-back Nathan Patterson wanted by Everton in January
Rangers right-back Nathan Patterson will be subject of a renewed bid from Everton in January, according to the Daily Mirror.
The Goodison Park outfit – owned by Iranian billionaire Farhad Moshiri – had a bid turned down in the summer for the Scotland international, 20.
Rafa Benitez still wants to strengthen at right-back, though, and the Toffees are likely to go back with around £9million for the signature of Patterson.

Not good enough
Rangers rejected a £5million bid from Everton, with Steven Gerrard dubbing it laughable, and they will need to at least triple that to have any chance of tempting the Premiership giants.
The Light Blues could do with a cash injection right now, but they do not have to sell players next month and will be keen to support new boss Giovanni van Bronckhorst by making a few quality signings instead.
Patterson is not playing regularly as he would love to at Ibrox, and with James Tavernier not showing signs of slowing down, he could be considering his future.

The youngster is not likely to force an exit and would prefer if Rangers receive an offer that they cannot turn down instead.
£9million will not do it for Everton, and they need to do more to have a chance of landing the Gers academy graduate.
Patterson is capable of hitting the ground running in the Premier League and becoming a big star in a couple of years from now, and while he is not commanding top dollar yet, that could be the case very soon.
