Sky Sports pundit blown away by Rangers midfielder Glen Kamara
Alan McLaren was gushing over Glen Kamara live-on-air as Rangers beat Dundee United 1-0 in the Scottish Premiership.
The Gers midfielder showed some lovely footwork in the second half of the game as his side were looking to slow down the pace of the game and hold on to their one-goal lead.
This moment caught the eye of McLaren, a Sky Sports pundit, who was on commentary for Rangers TV.
“Absolutely outrageous that from Kamara. He’s been one of their best players.”
Great game
Kamara was one of the few stand-out performers for a Rangers side that did not seem to get out of second gear.
We’ve seen better displays from most if not all of the players this season, but on Saturday, things just did not seem to fall in place for them.
However, the Finland international had a sensational game and it’s one he could be proud of.
In our player ratings for the 1-0 win over Dundee United, Kamara was named the Man of the Match with an 8/10 rating.
Hopefully, he continues playing at this level as he’s quickly becoming one of Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s trusted stalwarts.
He showed that he’s capable of playing in an advanced position as well as a deeper midfield role and he is a player who seems to excel no matter the opposition or flow of the game.
Kamara makes it a point to show up in the big games and we cannot wait to see how he fares in the Old Firm against Celtic on January 2.
